With twenty-six years of proven success in real estate marketing and development, The Masterpiece Companies have consistently provided quality and affordable developments to Cobb, Paulding, Bartow, Douglas, Dekalb, Gwinnett and Carroll counties. Since 1989 alone, The Masterpiece Companies have developed or marketed over 8,500 homes in over 65 single-family residential subdivisions while maintaining absorption rates up to 400% of area average for each community. These top selling communities achieved the highest sales price amount per square foot in the area.
The Masterpiece Companies’ developments include Ivy Springs, Waterford Park, Princeton, Buckingham Parke, Poplar Springs Park. Each of these has been extremely successful developments:
- Princeton was developed in late 1999 and early 2000 and achieved among the highest absorptions in its market in 2000
- Waterford Park was the fastest selling community in 1999 in Paulding County
- Buckingham Parke, an 87 home community, was developed in 1998 in Paulding County. All home-sites were pre-sold to Craftsman Homes with sales activities averaging 5 homes per month
- In 1996, Masterpiece acquired and developed a sixty-four acre tract in Paulding County called Poplar Springs Park and became the number one selling community in Paulding County for 1997 within 10 months
- Ivy Springs Phase I , II & III achieved 75% lot sales within 30 days of development completion and has become Paulding County’s 2nd most successful sub-division behind Bentwater; Phase IV is currently under development
- Riverside Plantation, a 120 home development on the Etowah River, is currently in the planning stages and should break ground in the fall of 2007.
Owner Biography
Stanley K. Argo is President of Masterpiece Communities, Inc. and has extensive hands on experience in land development, construction management and new home sales. He stays involved in all communities from concept to close-out and adapts the philosophy that a "market driven" development strategy insures that homes are sold, creating demand for additional lots.
In 1976, Argo initiated the "Great Atlanta Condo Workout". His client list included regional and national banks and savings and loans. Learning from and correcting others’ mistakes, he personally sold out six projects with a "personal best" of 349 units in seven months. Over the next 13 years, he and his staff effectively completed the development, construction and/or marketing of almost 2,800 units in 22 foreclosed condominium communities.
